About the Speakers
Kristinn Heinrichs, PhD, PT, NCS, SCS, ATC.
Dr. Heinrichs is one of the few PhD-trained, dual Board-Certified Clinical Physical Therapy Specialist (Neurology and Sports) and athletic trainer in the United States. In clinical practice and research for over 40 years, Dr. Heinrichs has worked with athletes of all skills and abilities ranging from Soldier-athletes with complex neuro-orthopedic brain injuries, Olympians, semi-professional, triathletes, golfers, recreational, university, adolescent, and equine athletes. Her clinical research interests include dynamic posturography and virtual reality in neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation, head and neck influences on postural control, and long-term effects of music and movement on brain structure and postural control.
Ozkan Demircan
Ozkan Demircan serves as a representative for Bertec, offering local customer, technical, and sales support across Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Eastern Pennsylvania. With a degree in Movement Science from Penn State University, Ozkan embarked on his career in the strength and conditioning realm, focusing on NFL Combine and NFL offseason training. His transition to Bertec allowed him to merge his passion for health with his knack for connecting with industry leaders, aiming to make a meaningful impact on a larger platform.
