A Synopsis
Bertec Corporation sponsored a research competition open to students of all levels - undergrads, grads, post docs, and even young professors - and all academic fields!
This competition's goal is to promote original, academic research. The projects are entirely designed, led, and carried out by the researchers; Bertec merely provides the equipment. All proposals were categorized by academic level so as to award the systems fairly (unfortunately no undergraduates applied this year). Then an external panel of experts from multiple fields reviewed and scored each proposal. Nine projects (14 researchers) were found to have excellent merit and were awarded a system for one full year! |
