Bertec's external amplifiers provide force plate users with three signal output options:
- Digital (AM6500)
- Analog (AM6501, AM6504)
- Dual digital/analog outputs (AM6800)
The digital signal output can be directly plugged into the standard USB port of the personal computers without the requirement of an additional PC card for analog-to-digital (A/D) signal conversion. This plug-and-play technology allows a simpler installation procedure in a minimum amount of time.
For analog output, the 16-bit digital output can be fed into an A/D board using conventional data collection techniques.
Users can choose between the measurement range and resolution with selecting an amplifiers with a fixed gain (AM6501) or with an adjustable gain (AM6504 -4 adjustable gains or AM6800 - 7 adjustable gains).
Ensure your force and torque measurements are accurate by anchoring your force plates to a rigid flat surface. Standard Mounting Plates are 3/4" (19 mm) thick and have the same length and width as the matching force plates. Custom Mounting Plates are available upon request.
Force Plate to Amplifier Cables
Use cables of any length because our digital pre-amplifier system is not susceptible to error from transmission or external noises. Standard cable lenghts available are 5 m, 10 m and 15 m.
Amplifier Output Cables
A USB cable is provide for digital outputs and two standard options are available for analog output: 6 individual BNC type outputs or 7 individual bare-wire outputs (6 signal + 1 ground). The standard length of the analog output cable is 1 meter and different types of output connectors can be provided.
