Non-Conductive Force Plate (4060-NC) |
 |
|
Bertec's product line of force plates have been specifically designed for gait, balance, and sports analyses. Designs to suit both static and dynamic applications have been achieved through the use of strain gage technology, innovative mechanical and electronics designs, and quality manufacturing.
Each force plate consists of a number of strain-gaged load transducers and a built-in digital
amplifier for signal conditioning. The rugged honeycomb
technology used for the production of the tops and bases
ensures enhanced dynamic measurement characteristics, while
keeping the overall weight to a minimum. Bertec force plates
come in a variety of sizes and associated load ranges to
suit different application needs. The
4550,
4060,
and 4080 model plates are generally used for clinical and
research gait analysis; whereas, the
6090,
9090,and
6012
model force plates are well suited for the rigors of sports,
dynamic biomechanics, ergonomics, and industrial research.
The wide variety of force plates in Bertec's product line
can be used with any type of motion analysis system ranging
from camera-based systems using passive markers to systems
with active markers or magnetic sensors. For example, the
4060-NC
model is a non-conductive plate specifically designed for
use in environments with magnetic fields.

Additional Items |
| |
To guarantee you get the most useful data from your force plate, consider the following products: |
| |
|
|
| |
|
External amplifiers provide the user with three signal output options: digital (AM6500), analog (AM6501, AM6504), or dual digital/analog outputs (AM6800). The AM6500 and AM6800 amplifiers come with a USB cable. For the analog outputs of the AM6501, AM6504, and AM6800, there are two cable options: 6 individual BNC type outputs or 7 individual bare-wire outputs (6 signal + 1 ground). Specialized output cables can be created upon request. |
| |
|
Mounting Plates- |
| |
|
Bertec strongly recommends the use of a mounting plate with any of our force plates. A mounting plate provides a rigid, flat surface for the force plate enabling accurate data collection. |
| |
|
Anchor Locations- |
| |
|
Depending on your needs, anchor locations can be provided on the top of the force plate allowing you to attach your own equipment to the plate. The style, location, and sizes of these anchor points are determined based on the application. These anchor requests must be specified at the time of the purchase order. See our custom-made dog plate for an example. |
| |
|
Device Cables- |
| |
|
Bertec offers 10m output cables that run from the force plate to the amplifier. These cables allow you to place your computer wherever it is convenient for you without worrying about signal degradation. Different lengths of cables are available upon customer request.
